Shoukry’s classes taught me so much in so little time. I’ve been having problems with performing in front small groups since I haven’t taken Urban dance classes before (all youtube videos). The energy and encouragement in his class to make it feel okay if you mess up is beyond amazing. I felt like he treats everyone the same during class and that’s what matters the most to me. Before his classes, I used to walk out of class when I felt like a weaker dancer than the rest and that other people were shown to be “favorites” so Shoukry, being the greatest instructor, never made me feel that way in his classes. He was the first instructor to encourage me this much and tremendously helped me with my confidence. I only took a couple of classes, yet haven’t been influenced this much by any other instructor after him. I absolutely loved his classes and I miss them more than anything 🙁
Well am 32yo and i loved music and dancing for like my whole life and always wanted to to learn dancing & music.. Since i knew about my instructor Shoukry via the social media last year i thought i should give it a shot and i was realy lucky to start off with Shoukry because he encouraged me to do what i love and keep goin no matter what and despite the social /cultursl norms and idea about a guy dancing… i managed to be more self confident and went out of the closet. I managed to learn so many styles of dance with Shoukry from hiphop, jazz funk, urban, etc… cant be more grateful for meeting such a positive and energetic instructor who shines people’s ways through dancing and life lessons. I learnt from him different dance techniques and ways of self home trainings and improvements, had the chance to improve my Grooves and my body poses and movements, learnt about dance textures.. honestly cant be more grateful for meeting such a positive and energetic instructor who made our lives much happier than before… and cant wait to get back to his classes again
Even though I’ve only attended a few classes with Shoukry, I wouldn’t have kept going without his uplifting energy. In my very first class, when I saw the supportive, encouraging environment he creates, I knew I’d come back. There are many great dancers and choreographers out there but it’s only the instructor’s energy that gives a student the first push.
I’m very grateful for the fact that i got the chance to attend Shoukry’s classes… I’ve learned so much from them, and one of the best things about it is that I got to perform the choreo once alone in front of the whole class, Shoukry and the rest of the class showed me support even though my performance totally sucked and I forgot the moves but Shoukry was very loving and supportive. Anyway, that helped me gain so much confidence… Shoukry’s classes are a blessing and they were my first step to trusting myself and believing that we all make mistakes and that the trick about being the best and improving is to never stop learning and never be ashamed of the mistakes. I really wish i can attend more of his classes because they’re one of the best positive vibes-spreading things to do. He’s the best !
I started my dancing journey 3 years ago and Shoukry was the perfect instructor for that start . Of course he taught me alot of moves, routines and skills; like confidence, getting into character, preforming and how to engage with other dancers, but most importantly Shoukry taught me to LOVE MYSELF and how to have so much fun in class, even if I’m there to learn.
Basically when Shoukry is around it doesn’t feel like I am dealing with an instructor it feels more like a brother, not only did he help me become better as a dancer but also a better person. Shoukry always seem to bring out the best in everyone and I love that he believes in me and is always there if I need to talk. I love his little motivational words and how he always make class fun and everyone comfortable.
Honestly speaking you’re such an amazing person with a heart of gold and I couldn’t be more thankful to you ❤️❤️
Love youuu
Shoukry has been one of my first teachers in dance and life, I have learned incredible things from him, and I would never be the person I am today if it wasn’t for his existence in my life. He is the embodiment of multi-talent, love and kindness.
Oh I have a lot to say! So many things to say about Shoukry that will never be enough.
We’ve known each other from a very long time, around 15 years and we’ve danced & performed together on the stage many times.
That aside, having him as an instructor at Adams Dance Studio was the best decision that we ever took for so many reasons.
One of the reasons that Shoukry always give love and support to all his students. Not only that but his way of teaching is very unique which made him successful in what he does. I’ve seen ghow he teaches and watched his students both kids and adults grow in dance because of him.
Shoukry is a mentor to all students from kids to adults.
We can’t wait to have you back at the studio soon 😀
Unfortunately, my time with Shoukry as my dance teacher only lasted a couple months, but I am very proud to say that each and every class spent with him was as fulfilling in every way I could’ve asked for.
His classes were my getaway, and even when a choreography was difficult, or it put me out of my comfort zone, his presence and encouragement always eased any nerves. When we weren’t dancing, we were laughing and when he would explore a new style of teaching or a new style in his choreographies, he’d sit us down and tell us the importance of being confident, and happy, and enjoying everything we do.
Because of a slightly busy school life, I haven’t been to any dance classes since, and I’m very happy it was his classes that I attended last.
I enjoyed Shoukry’s classes a whole lot… It was’t just about huge amount of support he showed us, but also the great vibes and positive he provides every class! I am truly blessed that I got the chance to know someone like him!
Thank you so so much Shoukry; for your soul and your kindness ♥️
It’s been 10 years I wanna take the step to go to a dancing class but never had the confidence. I sent him over Instagram and asked him about all my concerns & I never felt this push in my life. So I went to the class & started dancing in the end of the class again no confidence. A class by class I started dancing in the front row,not scared to do mistake, not worried that I won’t remember the move. Just focusing on myself,my body, music beats,Shoukry & my confidence. He push the class to be positive,to be confident,to love urself in the end of the class and we all dance together as if we are one squad even though we don’t do the same moves in the same time. So finally without him I would not have confidence,I would not take the step to dance. That class was my therapy and happy two hours better than going to dahab for 5 days and better than MacDonald’s fries with tasty sauce?. I just love u.
Some people just exist to change your life to the better, to make you realize where you should be and how good of a person you actually are. For me, that was Mahmoud Shoukry. Shoukry wasn’t only our mentor, he was our friend, our therapist, our best friend and most of all our safe space. We could talk to him about ANYTHING and he would understand no matter what the issue is. I can’t remember when was the last time I’ve actually enjoyed dancing since shoukry stopped teaching us. He gave us purpose, a reason to dance, a reason to enjoy it. It wasn’t only a class where you go learn a choreo and leave. No, that wasn’t it. We’d go, we’d dance, we’d talk and laugh, we’d exchange memories and most of all we became a family. You have no idea how much you impacted my life ya Shoukry and I don’t think you’d ever know that. But before I came to your class, I was just about to stop dance because I didn’t feel passionate about it anymore… and thanks TO YOU, you made me feel like I belong, I can and will dance and no matter what anyone tells me, I should look up high and feel proud of my accomplishments. You’re an angel sent from above. Thank you for everything. Thank you for being the best performer, dancer, mentor and most of all a friend to us all.
I started taking Shoukry’s classes 3 years ago! I can’t explain how much Shoukry and his classes effected my life in a really really good way.
I’ve always loved dancing and i loved it more because of his classes specifically! He helped me to gain my confidence again, helped me to be brave and step out of my comfort zone, helped me to accept myself with all of my flaws!
I appreciate every single advice he’s told me and i always keep them in mind.Shoukry I can’t thank you enough for everything, your energy, your advice, your time, and your biggest and purest heart ever.
You’re my number one inspiration and i’m so blessed and thankful to call you my big brother. Love you and miss you so much!♥️
Hi my name is Ayla Saleh, and I’ve actually only been in 2 of your workshops, but you were the my first hip-hop or urban class I ever took, since I dance mostly ballet, but your class made me more interested in other forms of dance. I knew only one other person there but towards the end of the class we all sat in a circle and you gave a little speech that made me feel part of this community, and so I’d like to say thank you!
You’re my number one inspiration and i’m so blessed and thankful to call you my big brother. Love you and miss you so much!♥️
Actually your class was my very first dance class and it was really fun, you’re such an inspiration and you taught me alot(“you’ve to love yourself??”) you’re a great instructor bgddd i love your classes so muchhhhh, thank you for spreading love??
You’re my number one inspiration and i’m so blessed and thankful to call you my big brother. Love you and miss you so much!♥️
Shoukry helped me through alot!
First of he helped me recognize the importance of self-love and in doing so how to love myself and to have faith in who I am and how to be patient, happy and positive .
Shoukry, you helped grow as a dancer and a person.
Thank youu for everything you have done for me and all of us !!!
You’re my number one inspiration and i’m so blessed and thankful to call you my big brother. Love you and miss you so much!♥️
I started attending Shoukry’s classes right from the very beginning. By that time I had already been training in old school Hiphop for at least a year. I wasn’t comfortable learning a choreography nor picking up one. I had little to no self confidence in my dancing. I can’t even put in words how much I have developed during the 3 years I have trained with Shoukry. Everything from my groove, my ability to learn a choreography, understand it, and memorize it, to my musicality. Musicality! Oh god! This is something Shoukry worked on A LOT! I’ve moved from just listening to the very basic loud beat in a song to listening to every instrument and vocal, identifying them, and knowing how to translate them through my body. I’ve also been exposed to many different dance styles more than I expected at Shoukry’s classes and learned what Urban dance is and how inclusive of many different dance styles and how freeing it is. Above all that, there is performance! One of the main things Shoukry worked on was performance. How to perform, how to have those different characters in your head that you impersonate depending on how you want to embody the music, and how to be confident on stage and in your own body while dancing.
All of that was only the dancing part of the class. Shoukry also helped each and every person in class to be confident in general and in all aspects of their lives. If he could spoon feed us love for ourselves, he would. Instead, he always repeated, made us repeat and believe in “love yourself”, “believe in yourself”, “you’re worthy of that love”, and many other sayings during class and during the meditation after class which made us connected on an emotional level. I honestly believe that a lot of the support of the dancers in Egypt to each other was sparked by Shoukry’s classes.
I’m forever grateful to Shoukry’s classes as a person and as a dancer.
Dancing since I am 5 years old, I was introduced to my passion at a very young age which quickly turned professional when I was casted into Germany’s first crew members of “Dope Skit” and being an assistant choreographer at Europes biggest Dance school. I was always eager to learn and attended workshops of Marty Kudelka, Eddie Morales, Nick Bass, Dax O Callaghan (Owner of Base in London) Quincy & many many more. I visited dance schools all over Europe like Pineapple Dance studios, WhoGotSkillz, Madcity Cologne to name a few. When I moved to Egypt I was desperately looking to continue that same level of knowledge and challenge in dance. When I was invited to Shoukrys workshop at Central Studio, it was love at first sight! His chorepgraphies, technique and style made me able to grow and work on myself, while experiencing the joy of it. I would always recommend Shoukry for his creativity, constructive criticism to become better and energy everytime you share the room with him. An amazing teacher and mentor I am very grateful to know.
Love you and miss you so much!♥️
Shoukry’s classes will always be a highlight to my dance journey. I remember when I first started taking dance classes and how I would be too scared to freestyle. I would always feel uncertain of my abilities, but I would always look to find Shoukry reassuring me throughout the class, allowing me to express myself without no hesitation. Shoukry never failed to amaze me as a teacher or as a performer; I learnt so much from watching him perform and from listening to his advice during every class. Having such a kind teacher like him meant not only having complete support during class, but also having a friend who cared about seeing you improve and flourish in your own way.
You are really such an amazing dance teacher, You taught me that we all have our strengths and weaknesses and that doesn’t make a bad dancer, it makes us unique dancers that do things in ways different than others , You also taught me how to express my feelings when words aren’t enough and Being in your class brings me a family i didn’t know i needed. Now because of you I have a level of confidence and grace I wouldn’t have otherwise. What also makes you an amazing teacher is that you support, motivate and respect your students and show empathy to them.
Thank you for being the person you are today and please stay safe and take good care of yourself ?
To dance is to let go and be in the moment, be confident and just be yourself. However, i didn’t know how to let go and didn’t feel that confident to dance but all this changed 170° thanks to Shoukry.
It was never just about the dance moves, it was about building bonds and building trust with every student like he/she was his only student. Everytime i had doubts, he would clear them and get me out of own head; he never gave up on his students.
But apart from just his kind and nurturing side, he always kept it professional and strict when the time called for it. It was also a good blend of how to keep believing in yourself if u don’t and how to keep pushing you no matter how tired you might think.
Words can’t describe the amount of love and support this person can give you!!
My very first experience with dance was with Shoukry. I can gladly say that he has supported me with such a strong base. With Shoukry its not just dance; its performance, self development, movement, musicality and so much more. I am proud and honored to have learned from such a phenomenal talent and I’m very excited to keep learning from him every day.
Being in shoukry’s classes have add a lot to me, not just as a dancer, but also as a person.
It’s always been more than just learning the moves, it’s his message that makes it the perfect comfert zone.
I’ve know Shoukry for well over 8 years. Back then, with a group of friends, we used to dance and rehearse alot. Shoukry’s been almost always the one coming up with new choreographies and ideas for us to evolve, he eventually got us to perform a couple of times at cool events.
I’ve seen him grow steadily into a well rounded artist and always finding new ways to express himself artistically through singing, dancing, choreographing, and radio.
I’m a Dance Studio owner so I can speak best about my experience with him in this regard.
Ever since we asked Shoukry to start his classes at our studio, he’s been a great addition to our team, if not the best. Students love his energy and the vibes he brings to the place, we’ve even had other instructors of different dance styles join his class weekly.
What I personally admire about him is how he runs his classes smoothly while giving attention to every single student, especially beginners.I have no doubt he can excel in anything he puts his mind into.
One of my best experiences ever was joining the Hip Hop class with you SHOUKRY!!! you helped me explore my inner self into dancing & pushed the limits I have always had regards dancing. At the beginning I felt so embarrassed & missing self confidence, meanwhile the progress through your guidence was amazing. I could never think I would move freely the way you helped me discover, when you first introduced me to the world of dancing.
I have learned so much from you and I look forward to learning more. Thank you for being a remarkable instructor…
God bless you!
Shoukry is amazing I went in with little to no knowledge and he was very communicative and got me out of my comfort zone, week after week it started to feel natural Shoukry takes the time and energy to focus with each individual in the group and is not Hesitant to go over any steps you are struggling with. I enjoyed my time and left feeling capable of achieving my goals and if I have the opportunity again I would take another class with him
I’ve always loved dancing but started officially training regularly with Shoukry three years ago.
His choreographies were challenging and trained my musical ear to play on nuances and textures very differently. A lot of my dance vocabulary is built on movements I have learnt from him.
He also mentored me on how to choreograph through a new approach that made the choreography look the way the music FELT. I learnt how to choreograph in a more flowy way.
I am now an instructor and one of the greatest things he inspired me with is his relentless investment in building a community instead of just teaching the class and leaving. I don’t think I remember one class that finished on time; we would always stay for longer and discuss things, perform for each other or push harder.
He always praised and pushed students, making them feel comfortable to be themselves. He helps you find yourself and never expects you to become him which is rare with most instructors.Watching him dance in class as a well-built and injured instructor taught me that there are no excuses to not giving your 200% in performances. He would give his all and that inspired me to do the same when I was on stage or even performing in class with my overweight body and ankle injury.
I can safely say that I gained a solid foundation from Shoukry to be a dancer, instructor and a compassionate human first and foremost.
it all started when i came to my first workshop with you and everything changed from a “hobby ” to “passion ” , i started taking dance classes but i always felt there was something wrong until you started giving classes and i attended my first class with you. Then i knew what dance is all about and what i wanted to start dancing from the first place , you made me love myself , trust in myself , know my worth and accept everything even with it’s flaws . You weren’t just ” an instructor ” you were a brother , a teacher , a bestfriend , a supporter and i can’t thank you enough for it . each class of yours changed me to the better , made me take one step closer to being a confident DANCER and made me a completely better person and dancer . You help everyone understand each move , musicality , technicality , and most importantly feel the move and remember why they started doing this at the first place . everyday i knew i had a class with you , i used to be soo happy and excited that my family thought i was going to party not going to a class . you make it feel like our second home , i learn , i enjoy , i feel , and i meet people that i now have the bestest friendships with . since u stopped teaching us and i always thought about quitting taking classes since it was seriously not the same and everyone thinks that too , but i always put in mind that if you were there , you’ll definetely shout at me , tell me you’re going to be one hell of a dancer , you can’t stop doing the thing you like the most just because one obstacle in your way , and that was the reason i wanted to get better everyday and try my best to get better . to make you and myself proud because a person that was teached by YOU is one hell of a lucky person . i love you with all my heart shoukry:)
i don’t think i’ve ever benefited from an instructor like i’ve benefited from you, you’ve worked on all my weaknesses and improved my strengths, you care about each and every person in your class and treat everyone with the same love and respect, you focus on ways to reach the person in front of you through your bomb dance moves, and your amazing way with words.
you improved both my personality and my technicality.
you taught me how to love myself and how no one else is worthy of that love, except my parents (sometimes ahahah).
you’ve taught me how to listen to songs better and how to show more emotion through my dancing.
all in all, ANYONE would be lucky to have an instructor like you.
You’re such an amazing inspiration to me literally, all your classes were awesome i cant thank you enough about that, not only about dance but also about life and most importantly to love myself. you’ve given me so much without even realizing and really you have a great impact in my life.
I used to spend about 3month months studying urban choreography with Shoukry. He’s absolutely a wonderful instuctor and a performer. The most important thing that i feel about it in his class, is that he focus on arousing students’ inside energy to show different character of themselves, which is super important in dancing or other performance arts. Therefore, he’s really good at encouraging his students to build self-confidence and have fun with dancing. The best way to devote yourself to dancing is to make it as your own passion. Shoukry is definitely a outstanding instuctor in this field. Besides all things above, he’s also a funny guy with great talent. You always feel time goes too fast when having his class. There’s no doubt that he’s popular with his students and colleague. It’s really lucky for me to have such an experience with him when I was being a foreigner in a different country. It really means a lot to me and I hope that I could have more classes with him in the future.
In Mahmoud Shoukry’s classes I’ve learned to listen carefully to the music, understand the beats/rhythms and how to coordinate my body movements to it. I’ve learned various urban dance choreographies that were both fun and challenging. And I’ve learned that repetition of choreography movements makes perfect.
Above all, Shoukry’s classes pushed me to feel comfortable to in my own body and taught me that I could learn any choreography no matter how hard it seems, just dissect it into little steps and practice.
I learned so muchh from your classes acceptance for myself, confidence, transitioning from move to move ,attitude and most importantly to LOVE MYSELF AND I REALLY MISS YR SPIRIT IN CLASS❤❤❤ I’m blessed and thankful to have you in my life
man ur more than missed u and ur classes ❤️?
the class was great
you did a very good job making us loosen up
the class had more of a presonal theme to it we were not just dancing you helped us get what the song was about…and project the songs’ feelings on our own experience
…idk for me it would have been better if i knew the song i will dance to the next time…so i can listen to it and hear whatever instruments played its clearer than the loudspeaker specially if ur listening to the song for the first time, however the whole thing was a lovely experience for me thank you for being part of it ❤️
I have been taking your classes for about 2-3 years now, and I honestly always feel better after them. The first time I took an urban dance class was your workshop and it is probably why I fell in love with taking classes, and it encouraged me to start getting into the dance scene. I think you’re someone who is extremely passionate about anything they get into, and you know who you are, what you believe in, and what you want your students to take from your classes. You always push your students and make them feel like you genuinely care and are available for them whenever they need feedback, advice, or encouragement. I think your experience in entertainment for a long time now really does give you the ability to do all those things for your students, because you have seen a lot and know how to help. Lastly, you have also always tried to be honest with your students but still always respect them, which is what makes them know you are genuine and want to come to more of your classes.
So i have know shokry for a year and a half i went to my first class and he made me get out of my comfort zone by dancing his choreo when technically i didng even get an 8 step count from that day he kepy pushing me and making me not only a better person but a better person he made us after every class tell our selfs that we matter and dance isnt about competition its abt having fun and for all i can say shokry is one of the fewest people who actually take dancing as an important thing about in life and i adore that
It was so freeing and exciting dancing with you because it was such an amazing experience. i spent about 2 months learning new amazing things from you and i am so so grateful for the time i spent because at first i was actually very nervous because i was new to dancing but i always knew that it was just something i wanted to dig deeper into and i am eternally grateful that i could do that and learn with/from you. those 2 months were so much fun and so interesting and amazing and i wouldn’t change a thing about them, thank you so so much for everything you’ve taught me from dancing to perspective to being me. thank you for everything <3
Hey Shoukry, it’s Jannah You may recognize my name and you may not ahahaha, anyways you have to know that you have taught me a lot of things since the first class I ever took with you. You have to taught me to love myself and that’s truly a big thing that I never thought would happen you made me understand and believe that I’m worthy of a lot of things and not only you have taught me to dance you also taught me to be myself. Personally, I think you are a strong fighter that has been beating the f out of all the challenges life has offered you, for me you are a role model and a hero, you have been my dance teacher, my life mentor and most importantly a big brother and that’s wether you know it or not. I just look up to you even if you don’t know who I am lol. Your classes, and ONLY your classes have taught me things that I can’t count, I hope you know that life will do you good and setting aside all the jokes and comments you make about your age anything coming up soon is going to make you happy and proud of yourself more than you should be now. Because you deserve it, this message is to make you understand that you have made a lot people feel better and you have taught people so much so you deserve everything good and you deserve all the happiness in the world.
Another thing I need to mention, when I come in to shoukrys classes I know I can get out of my comfort zone, I know I don’t have to act anymore to please the people around me, I know I can finally be myself and no one will judge and that’s because you comforted us on the first day when I thought oh I have to make an impression so I don’t look ridiculous hahaha, and since that day I have improved so much mentally and in dancing, so honestly, for real, thank you, for everything!
These messages are too long omg, I hope you read them
Since my first class with Shoukry, I felt this connection and a sense of belonging, like this was the class where I’m meant to be. Some classes are pure fun, some emotional, some sassy, and some hard and challenging, but no matter what type of class it is, I always walk out of it with a smile. And that circle at the end, always leaving me with a reminder to be kind and to love myself. Shoukry’s classes will always have a special place in my heart.?
Shoukryyy❤️ You were my teacher since day one and i love dancing because of you so thank you for inspiring, helping, and motivating me to be a better dancer . Every class with you were such a big this to me every class with you was full of fun and unforgettable moments, You weren’t just only a teacher, You have been incredibly supportive and a good friend to me. Thank you so much for everything you do for me on a constant basis. You are such an amazing inspiration around role model to me.I love you more than words could ever express.❤️❤️
At first i had no idea how to dance or even how to feel the music that i listen, you helped me to improve and you encouraged me to dance and most importantly you helped me to be brave and confident , you weren’t just an instructor to me , you were my friend and my mentor .
Thank you for everything and for giving me the best advices and helping me get through the most horrible time in my life and thank you for teaching me how dance ❤️
Ive always wanted to explore dancing as an actress , so i decided to ask some friends for some dancing instructor suggestions and take it from there , so i met “ Shoukry “.
first thing he taught me was “respect “
That we have to respect each and everyone in that place , and realize that not “ everybody was born a dancer “
He has passion , he loves what he does , he inspires others with his confidence
Hi shoukry! First of all I want to thank you for these amazing classes I always looked forward for class because it was so much fun. Coming from a rather classical dance background you helped me find my groove. You helped me be more firm in my mouvements and get into character. You always had a variety of choreos with different styles so I got used to switching personas and learning new styles that became one of my favorites (jazz funk). The energy in class is amazing and so welcoming, I’ve made so many new friends. Other than being a great dancer and choreographer you were always there to support people and make us laugh. Even though sometimes you felt down you made it a new learning curve to use these emotions in the choreo and freestyle. So yeah thank you for everything it has been a great learning and bonding experience
My first experience with urban/hiphop dance was with shoukry about 10 months ago. Since then, it was the thing I would look forward to most every week. Not just because I fell in love with the dance, but because Shoukry always made the class feel good and therapeutic. I always left with a smile on my face and a renewed sense of self-confidence. When I went home to London after the summer, I trained with some amazing instructors there, but I wasn’t able to find the same warm atmosphere that I cherished in Shoukry’s classes. His classes are truly one of a kind and I can’t wait until I can share the studio with him again once all of this blows over.
Shoukry is like a mama bird that pushes its cheeks off the nest so that they have to fly, but as you fall you’ll find him right down the tree to catch and lift you back up again for another try.
Unfortunately, I only went to your class TWICE and to be honest I had the best and most fun time ever, I felt free. Both times I forgot all about me, myself, my name, my life, my problems, my responsibilities, my struggles outside that dance floor and these classes were like my “me” time. I have learned more about music, learned more moves and I got the courage to dance freely in front of people and make mistakes which was so important to me. I loved the people there even though we didn’t talk much I loved the spirit on that floor and 100% I’d go to your classes every time I get the chance! Ramadan Kareem buddy! It’s been a pleasure ???
So to start with my journey with you, when I first started taking Shoukry’s classes I was in a very bad place when it came to dance . I needed to fall back in love with it . From the first class I would walk out with nothing but a big smile. What Shoukry does is that he really pushes you , and motivates you. He makes you feel better about yourself. Also something that I admire is that he makes the class about the students and not himself . Shoukry evaluates the performance first and then works with it , for him to be able to raise his students and not make them crack and fail. Another thing that made me in love with classes is that he keeps it honest with you , he won’t lie to you. He won’t tell you things that are not you , he’ll give you honest feedback for you to be able to work on yourself . Over my time , I’ve gained so much confidence in my dancing. My first class I felt horrible and as if I can’t do anything , by the last class I’ve felt a huge diffefence. I’ve become more happy and centered with myself as a person and as a dancer. Shoukry does not only work on dancing in class but also at the end of every class he would make this circle where he would motivate us to love ourselves. In the beginning I couldn’t say “i love myself’ but by the end of it I finally said it. Something else is that Shoukry is a friend which really helped me grow , because I felt safe . I didnt feel any pressure or any judgement. For sure I got out of my comfort zone, but that is how you learn. Im truly grateful that I’ve had an instructor like him.
Working with Shoukry is an absolute pleasure, his leadership abilities were nothing short of phenomenal, he is responsible, motivated and extremely talented.
Shoukry has the ability to lead others with enthusiasm and worked hard to instill in his students the same kind of passion he has for dance and pride for the studio team.
He is a team player, always working to be better and motivates his students to strive for the best, he is genuinely a kind person, i am proud of him and all of his accomplishments.
Having Shoukry as an instructor at our studio was the best decision that we ever took for so many reasons.
One of the reasons that Shoukry always give love and support to all his students. Not only that but his way of teaching is very unique which made him successful in what he does. I watched the students growing in dance because of him. He is a mentor to all students from kids to adults.
We can’t wait to have you back at the studio soon 😀
